Abstract

We give concrete coordinates on the variety of parabolic representations
of a 3-manifold group into SL(n, C). Using these coordinates, we give a
concrete dilogarithmic formula for the volume and Chern-Simons invariant
of such representations. The coordinates are inspired by coordinates on
higher Teichmu¨ller spaces due to Fock and Goncharov.
